A fiery coastal speciality from Goa with predominant taste of garlic and vinegar, fired with hot chilli and curry spices. In Goa, this curry is prepared mainly with fatty pork meat. Net wt: 380 gms.
Ingredients: Onion, Tomato, Vegetable Oil, Garlic, Ginger, Spice Mix, Salt, Chilli, Coriander, Cumin, Food Acid (Acetic), Curry Leaves
Beef or Pork Vindaloo
Cooking time: 45 minutes
You will need:
Vegetable Oil 2 tbsp
Curry Creations Vindaloo Sauce 1 jar
Lean Diced Beef or Pork 1 kg
1. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and quickly fry 1 kg diced lean beef or pork.
2. Stir in contents of jar in the meat and fry for 5 more minutes.
3. Add 1/2 cup of water and simmer for 40-45 minutes on low heat or until the meat is tender.
4. Serve hot with boiled rice.
TIP: If the curry is spicy hot, add 150ml of coconut milk or yoghurt.
