A traditional curry sauce from Kashmir valley. Josh means cooking on ambers to keep all the rich flavours within. Kashmiri spice mix creates a rich deep red curry. Cook lamb, mutton or goat and enjoy with naan or roti.
Onion, Tomato, Ginger, Garlic, Coriander, Cumin, Spice Mix, Turmeric, Cardamom, Mace, Vegetable Oil, Food Acid (Acetic), Water, Salt.
Lamb Rogan Josh
Cooking Time: 35-40 mins or until lamb is tender
You will need:
Lean diced lamb 1kg
Vegetable oil 2 Tbsp
Curry Creations Rogan Josh Simmer Sauce 1 Jar
Rice or Naan bread
1. Heat oil and quick fry lamb
2. Stir in contents of the Curry Creations Rogah Josh jar in the lamb
3. Simmer on low heat for 35-40 mins or until the lamb is tender. Add water if necessary to get curry consistency
4. Serve with Naan or Basmati rice
Tip: For extra flavour, marinate lamb in 2 tbsp natural yoghurt for 1 hour.
Rogan Josh can be used for Lamb and Spinach. Jhalfarezis or Bhuna Gosht.
Refrigerate Sauce after opening.
